The Bleak Academy Teahouse prides itself on its wide selection of teas from across Hydaelyn: For as long as people have had hot water and leaves, they've sought to put them together. We also offer a small selection of coffee and other warm drinks. Should you desire something not listed on the menu, please ask after it anyway: there's a decent chance we have it.

Pixieberry Tea	A fun fruit tea made with a copious helping of Pixieberry syrup, and is good for folks who have a notable sweet tooth in their drinking habits.	4500 gil
Steppe Tea	The tea leaves used for this are first fermented, then doused with a healthy serving of cream. It has a rich, creamy and savory taste, with a brief tangy afterkick.	4000 gil
Matcha (Green Tea)	An earthy and herbal tea, made by whisking powdered tea leaves into a cup. The feeling on the tongue differs from leaf teas, and it goes down smoothly with a subtle sweetness.	4500 gil
Masala Chai	The addition of cinnamon and milk add sweet aromatic notes to this creamy, impressively spiced tea.	3500 gil
Hot Cocoa	Melted chocolate blended with milk and sugar. For some reason, sand is involved in the process, but we'll never say how.	5500 gil
Espresso con Panna	The one coffee we offer. On request, we can pretend to do latte art, but it might end up looking like a pudding.	3500 gil

Caramels	A sweet delicacy made with sugar, cream and milk, these bite-size caramels will have you thinking of your grandma.	3500 gil
Coffee Biscuit	The flavor of coffee beans pervades through this caffienated cookie.	2500 gil
La Noscean Toast	Walnut bread fried up in egg and served with powdered sugar and maple syrup. Perfect food for a hangover. (Not that we would know anything about that.)	4500 gil

About Us

The Bleak Academy Teahouse was created for the purpose of giving the weary mercenaries of Tenebrus a place to rest their heels, but welcomes all kinds of travelers to their doors. Every type of person is welcome here, though we ask that you stow your weapons and put away your minions. We hope you feel comfortable here, and we wish you a lovely stay.

Feel free to ask the owner or any of the wait staff to sit down for a chat: if the teahouse isn't urgently busy, we'd love to make time to chat with our patrons.

Mina Ohasakou

Owner and proprietor of the Teahouse, Mina Ohsakou is a veteran of the Bozjan Southern Front and a skilled chirurgeon. Their culinary training took them to Kugane, where they studied for many years under expert chefs while they completed their training as an Astrologian. A longstanding passion for tea has led them to open the Bleak Academy Teahouse as a way to give back to their mercenary company. Also works nights!

A formidable warrior and longtime member of the Tenebrus Free Company, A'shley Ritae assists in the running of the Teahouse primarily in support of Mina. Having been involved in many of the conflicts in recent times, she's always happy to chat about her experiences with the clientele regardless of whether she's on bar duty or bouncer duty. Although she's not particularly fond of tea, A'shley has quite the sweet tooth, often spotted chewing on one of the Teahouse's snacks.

Moonshine Staff

Clover's interest in all things plants brought her to all corners of the Eorzean map and beyond to study the magic of the botanical world. While you might think her silly to work in a tea shop while harboring a dislike for hot drink, her desire to give back to the community found her in the warm atmosphere of The Bleak Academy Teahouse. Clover is also the resident chef and baker for the Teahouse, so feel free to ask her about the best tasty snacks to compliment your chosen drink!

Anzu Shukeerie

Anzu was once a mercenary, one that only recently joined Tenebrus hoping to find a place to relax and create a sense of home for herself. She enjoys the finer types of teas, ones with more earthy flavors that remind her of the teas she tried to make while on the road. Though Anzu may not be perfect at making her own teas, she makes a goal of tasting any type of creation the tea house can offer so she can help suggest brews to newer patrons.
